Falling from heights is the major cause of fatalities in the construction industry. More than half of falls from a height of over 2 meters result in death or serious injury. All such deaths and serious injuries are preventable.
Working at heights is a safety topic which needs to be constantly reinforced. It should occur frequently enough in a 'common place' that is easy for people to become complacent about the dangers of working at heights.
